Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a lid body with lens capable of increasing a yield.SOLUTION: A lid body with lens 1 includes: a lid body 2 formed of a metal; and a lens 3 formed of borosilicate glass. The lid body 2 has: a cylinder 20; a first flange 21 and a second flange 22. The lens 3 is welded to the second flange 22 covering a window hole 23. The manufacturing method of the lid body with lens 1 includes: a first step in which a first mandrel 4 inserted into a cylinder 20, a second mandrel 5 positioned at the outside of the cylinder 20, a lens element 30 as a base of a lens 3 and a cylindrical outer frame 6 are disposed; a second step of heating the lens element 30 from the outside of the outer frame 6 to fuse therewith and subsequently cool the same to thereby form the lens 3 and to thereby weld the lens 3 and the second flange 22 therewith; a third step of removing the lid body with lens 1 from the first mandrel 4, the second mandrel 5 and the outer frame 6. The material for the first mandrel 4, the second mandrel 5 and the outer frame 6 is a silicon nitride.
