Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method of magnetostrictive element, sintering vessel and the like which are capable of obtaining the magnetostrictive element having high characteristics.

The setter 20 of the sintering vessel 10 is constituted so as to be provided with a hole 21 capable of retaining a molding 100 under the erected condition of the same, so that the molding 100 is contracted upon sintering and is brought into a condition that the molding 100 is not contacted with the setter 20 in a temperature region wherein sintering reaction is caused between the molding 100 and the setter 20.
