Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an A-pillar lower outer panel without generating cracks or wrinkles in one step by a hot-stamp process.SOLUTION: By using a punch 31, a blank holder 32, a die 33, and a bending die 34, through a hot-stamp process, a portion formed in a vertical wall 22 positioned on the outer peripheral side of the corner 20-2 of an A-pillar lower outer panel 20 in a blank 40 is held between the blank holder 32 and the die 33, the die 33 and the bending die 34 are brought close to the punch 31, at least a part of the portion formed in the vertical wall 22 positioned on the outer peripheral side of the corner 20-2 is drawing-formed by the punch 31, the blank holder 32 and the die 33, and a portion excluding the drawing-formed part is bent by the punch 31 and the bending die 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
