Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an optical film, a transfer method, and a transfer roller capable of suppressing a support medium such as a belt-like film to be transferred from deviating to the right side or the left side of the support medium width direction at the time of transfer.SOLUTION: At least one of transfer rollers 68 is a step roller 30 having a pair of step parts 32. When a support medium 14 is transferred on the center, outer ends 32a of the step parts 32 are arranged so as to be positioned on the inner side than inner ends 16a of knurlings 16 of the support medium 14. When the step parts 32 and the knurlings 16 are brought into contact with each other, the support medium 14 is moved to the position of transfer on the center with holding power applied to the parts between both ends of the support medium 14 and the step parts 32.
