Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a molten siliceous precast block, capable of preventing abnormal burning without shrinkage during temperature rising and elongating the oven body life of a coke oven, when portland cement is used as a binder.SOLUTION: A method for producing a molten siliceous precast block for a coke oven, using portland cement as a binder, performs s heating treatment on a dried block after subjected molding and drying treatment at a temperature higher than 600°C, and thereby can stabilize a shrinkage behavior to the vicinity of the temperature at which the heating treatment has been performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
