Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a vinyl chloride resin for paste processing less in viscosity aging change of a vinyl chloride resin sol for paste processing prepared by dispersing a vinyl chloride resin for paste processing in a plasticizer and having excellent properties as a coating agent, especially an automobile under body coating agent and a sealant agent for automobile.SOLUTION: There is provided a vinyl chloride resin for paste processing executing at least following (1) process and (2) process when a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer by a seed polymerization. (1) process: a process for manufacturing a polymerization initiation-containing seed latex by micro dispersion polymerization on a vinyl chloride monomer in a temperature range of 20 to 35°C after conducting a homogenization treatment in presence of an oil-soluble polymerization initiator and an aqueous medium. (2) process: a process for preparing the vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer by seed micro dispersion polymerization on a mixed monomer consisting of vinyl chloride monomer/vinyl acetate monomer in presence of the seed latex obtained in the (1) process and the aqueous medium at a temperature range of 28 to 43°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
