Abstract:

To provide a paper for an envelope with a window, and a method for producing the paper for the envelope with the window which facilitate recycling of waste paper, provide high transparency, maintain the transparency for a long period, and enables a required transparent window easily.

The paper for the envelope with the window is obtained by subjecting a predetermined position of at least one side of the paper to a transparent treatment and integrally with the paper, usable for the transparent window part of the paper, which has an opacity of ≤20% and a gloss of >30%, has a basis weight of 50-100 g/m2and a density of 0.60-0.80 g/cm3, and made from a pulp.
