PURPOSE: To provide accurate illumination from a ship which makes three- dimensional movement to another ship to be illuminated which also makes three-dimensional movement by enabling a light beam of a lighting system provided on the former ship to be stably applied to the subject to be illuminated.

CONSTITUTION: A TV camera 22 is attached to a projector main body 21, and the coordinates of the center position of a ship to be illuminated are detected by an image processor 31 from an image taken by the TV camera 22, and are recognized by the image processor 31. A controller 33 compares the coordinates of the reference position of the ship to be illuminated to the coordinates of the current position of the ship. For the current position of the ship for illumination to coincide with the reference position, a vertical drive 24 and a horizontal drive 25 are driven so as to correct the direction of a light beam R of the projector main body 21.
