Abstract:

To provide a marine vessel capable of reducing increase in-billow resistance by reducing a crushing phenomenon by reducing a degree of disturbance of a water surface by a hull at a bow part.

In the lateral cross section shape of bow flares Fs, F1-F3 in 0.5-5% of length between perpendiculars Lpp at a rear side from a bow perpendicular F.P. regarding a vessel length direction of the marine vessel, positions ps, p1-p3 where the bow flare Fs, F1-F3 starts to be inclined are made within a range of above the position at an upper side than a full-loading draft line Z0 by 0.5% of length between perpendiculars Lpp and below the position at an upper side than the full-loading draft line Z0 by 2% of length between perpendiculars (Lpp).
