To recycle artificial marble powder as a material by mixing as ASB hardening material with such powder as to be produced in processing artificial marble followed by hot-pressing the mixture to effect hardening it so as to save both the labor and cost for disposing such powdery waste.
The subject material is obtained by mixing an ASB hardening material with powdery artificial marble to be disposed as an industrial waste followed by hot-pressing the mixture to effect hardening it. The material thus obtained can be reused in various applications as a material resistant to fire, heat, and (hot) water. Further, when to be hardened, this material easily affords diversified colors by mixing it with any of various colors together, thereby powdery wastes inevitably produced in processing artificial marble and gathered by means of machinery or manpower can be recycled without the need of disposal as industrial wastes with a great deal of labor and cost, contributing to preserving the natural environment.
