To provide a member selection method capable of effectively selecting a member of a lamination electronic component as well as enhancing reliability of the lamination electronic component.SOLUTION: A member selection method is a method for selecting a member of a lamination electronic component, and includes: a change parameter setting step of setting at least one of a parameter related to an elastic modulus of a first green sheet, a parameter related to a thickness of the first green sheet, a parameter related to an elastic modulus of a second green sheet, a parameter related to an elastic modulus of a conductive layer, and a parameter related to a thickness of the conductive layer, as a change parameter; a calculation step of calculating distortion generated in an effective part in a compression step by a numerical analysis for each of a plurality of data sets different in at least one value of the change parameter; and a model formation step of forming a regression model between the change parameter and the distortion on the basis of a calculation result in the calculation step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
