Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make the next operating position clear to facilitate operations and to decrease errors by displaying the position of an element to be inputted at present by the cursor of a solid line and displaying the position of an element to be next inputted by the cursor of a dotted line with respect to the mathematical formula input system for inputting a numerical formula.
CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with a numerical formula input processing part 5 for displaying the fixed part of the selected mathematical formula, displaying a present mark at the first input element position uninputted in the variable part and displaying a next mark at the next input element position, and the mathematical formula is inputted by repeating the display of the inputted element at the present mark position with the successive inputs of elements and the display of the present mark at the next mark position and the next mark at the further next input element position.
