Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a consecutive measurement method of fibrin amount change in blood to consecutively obtain information with respect to formation of clot and probability of occurrence thereof.SOLUTION: A method is given in which fibrin amount change in blood flowing in a passage of a blood circulation device that takes out blood from a body and returns the blood to the body again is consecutively measured. In an optical device, incident light is given in the lateral side of the passage so that scattered light is measured. Intensity ratios Rand Rof the scattered light to the incident light for each of a wavelength λ1 in a short wavelength side and a wavelength λ2 in a long wavelength side sandwiching the wavelength region 584-600 nm is consecutively measured. Erythrocyte contribution to the scattered light at the intensity ratio Ris removed by the hematocrit value at the intensity ratio Rto provide the fibrin amount change.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
