Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for measurement for a long time without replacing a battery or charging the battery even in an environment without any electrical facilities.
SOLUTION: The measurement system body 2 is divided into a data sampling part 4 and a data processing part 10 and power is normally supplied from a battery to the data sampling part 4 only for operation. The data sampling part 4 performs a required conversion (current/voltage conversion 5 and A/D conversion 6) to measurement data fetched from a sensor and store the converted data in a buffer memory 8. When measurement advances and the buffer memory 8 is full, the power from the battery 3 is supplied also to the data processing part 10 and at the same time, the data in the buffer memory are sent to the data processing part 10. The data processing part 10 performs an operation to the received data and stores the operation result in a memory medium 12 or displays the data in a display/input means 14 to let users know about them.
