Abstract:

To automatically measure on the road surface to be measured, to measure in a narrow place with a device compact as a whole, and to acquire high-accuracy measurement data.

This device is constituted of a base frame 1 installed and fixed on the road surface; an axle support frame 14 for supporting a wheel driving motor M1 supported movably vertically by a support stand 7, a frame rotating motor M2, a measuring wheel 16, and the axle 15 of the measuring wheel 16; a first power transmission means 23 for connecting the wheel driving motor M1 to the axle 15; a second power transmission means 38 for connecting the frame rotating motor M2 to the axle support frame 14, and interposing a torque sensor St therebetween; a ground pressure adjusting spring 43 of the measuring wheel 16; and a control means B for calculating the coefficient of dynamic friction of the measuring road surface. The control means B calculates the coefficient of dynamic friction from the output signal of the torque sensor St.
