Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow thickness dimensions of unit weights included in a counterweight and the number of unit weights laminated in a weight frame to be measured with good accuracy without depending on visual confirmation by a measurement operator.SOLUTION: A measuring device for a counterweight 3 which is provided in an elevator apparatus and has a weight frame 10 to be connected to an elevator car 2 through a rope 4 and a plurality of unit weights 11 held by the weight frame 10, comprises: rolling amount detecting rollers 12 which roll on side faces 11a of the unit weights 11; a rotary encoder 14 that detects rolling amounts of the roller 12; a switch 16 which is provided independently from the rotary encoder 14, moves accompanying movement of the roller 12 and detects recesses 15 forming boundary parts of the plurality of unit weights 11; and a calculation part 20b that calculates thickness dimensions and total number of the unit weights 11 on the basis of detection signals by the rotary encoder 14 and detection signals by the switch 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
