To provide a measuring instrument having an automatic control command output function capable of easily producing an automatic control program of a measuring instrument by simple operations.

The automatical measuring instrument 6 comprises an RF unit 3 for conducting measurements by inputting and detecting an objective electric wave signal and subjecting it to predetermined processes, a controlling unit 5 for controlling the overall operations of the measuring instrument 6 and outputting its measurements as electric signals, an operating unit 8 for setting the measuring instrument and executing commands, a display unit 4 for displaying the measured data, and an external interface unit 9 for conducting connections to external instruments. The controlling unit 5 includes a working memory 7 for storing automatic control commands inputted from the operating unit by an operator, and outputs the automatic control commands stored in the working memory 7 through the interface unit, when the measuring instrument is configured to predetermined conditions.
