Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled firmly bonded part having desired shape and excellent durability, abrasion resistance and energy saving property and useful as a mechanical part for automobile, electrical appliance, etc., at a low cost, by applying a coating layer of a specific alloy to a bonding surface of a sintered metal and bonding the metal with a ceramic having metallized bonding surface via a soldering material.

CONSTITUTION: (a) An Mn-Ni-Cu alloy containing 5W70wt.% of Mn, 5W70wt.% of Ni and 5W70wt.% of Cu (the sum of Mn, Ni and Cu is ≥50wt.% based on the alloy in total) is applied to a bonding surface of (b) a sintered metal composed of an Fe alloy containing ≥50wt.% of Fe or a Cu alloy containing ≥50wt.% of Cu and the coated metal is heated at 800W1,300°C to impregnate the component (a) into the pores on the bonding surface of the component (b) and obtain a coated sintered metal (A). The surface of the component A coated with the component (a) is bonded with (B) a bonding surface of a ceramic tip having metallized bonding surface using (C) a soldering material such as Ag-Cu alloy.
