PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of core breakage of a writing core due to burr caused by barrel processing, in a tip pipe used for a mechanical pencil.SOLUTION: There is provided a mechanical pencil 10 having a tip inner side edge 35 in which the surface of a burr 34 caused by barrel polishing processing is smoothly formed, at the tip inner edge of a tip pipe 30 which is mounted to the tip end of a barrel 20 and through which a writing core passes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
