PURPOSE: To facilitate mounting/dismounting of cultivation bottle onto/from a container by feeding a container on a conveyor by a row of cultivation bottle at a time, then gripping a row of cultivation bottles through a gripping means and passing onto a carrying conveyor running in perpendicular direction with the moving direction of the container.

CONSTITUTION: A container 52 mounted on a carry-in conveyor 14 is carried intermittently by a row of cultivation bottles at a time. It is stopped at the position of a take-out portion 54, then supporting boards 54a, 54b and supporting rods 56a, 56b are lowered so as to grip bottles 50 by means of gripping members 58a, 58b. When the gripping members 58a, 58b are lifted, a row of bottles 50 can be taken out from the container 52. Thereafter, the gripping members 58a, 58b are moved onto a carrying conveyor 18 with the bottles 50 being gripped so as to transfer the bottles 50 onto the carrying conveyor 18. Then the container 52 is advanced by a row of bottles and similar operation is repeated. With such arrangement, mounting/dismounting of bottles onto/from the container is facilitated.
