To provide an article protrusion prevention mechanism for a rack, capable of preventing an article from protruding and capable of facilitating and simplifying mounting operation.
A mechanism for preventing an article from protruding for a rack includes: a stopper body 1, a bolt 2 supported by a bolt insertion through hole 1h thereof; a strut member 3 having a width in a strut direction wider than a width between inner surfaces of one of pairs of facing sidewall parts 22a, 22c in an arm beam 22, having a width in a play direction perpendicular to the strut direction narrower than a width between inner surfaces of the other of the pairs facing sidewall parts in the arm beam 22, and suspended and supported by a bolt 2 while a shaft part 2s of the bolt 2 is inserted through a long hole 3h; and a female screw member 4 screwed at a distal end side of the strut member 3 in the shaft part 2s of the bolt 2. The female screw member 4 is configured to be locked in a relative rotation blocking state in which the relative rotation about an axial center of the bolt 2 is blocked relative to the strut member 3.
