Abstract:
To provide a remote medical treatment system that is equipped with an operation apparatus that gives operation instructions to a medical apparatus from a remote location through simple operation, and that enables smooth medical treatment.SOLUTION: A remote medical treatment system according to the present invention includes a medical apparatus that acquires biological information on a patient in a remote location and an operation apparatus that gives instruction on the operation of the remote medical apparatus, which are connected to each other via a network. The operation apparatus includes a first communication unit that receives the biological information from the medical apparatus, a first guide unit that visually indicates the movement direction of the medical apparatus, and a direction processing unit that outputs movement direction instruction information to the medical apparatus based on an input of movement direction instruction toward a predetermined movement direction. The medical apparatus includes a second communication unit that transmits the biological information to the operation apparatus, a second guide unit that visually guides the movement direction of the medical apparatus, and a guide control unit that controls the second guide unit based on the movement direction instruction information received from the operation apparatus.
