PURPOSE: To reduce the trouble required for the generation, management, etc., of medical charts by holding a read partial picture in relation with given medical treatment data and recording those medical treatment data and partial picture as specific positions on a specific form.

CONSTITUTION: For, for example, an oral surgical treatment, position registration data which are registered as medical chart data are read out and a position is specified with the read position registration data. Consequently, corresponding partial pictures are read out of a vertical teeth expansion picture file and a horizontal teeth expansion picture file recorded on a hard disk 13. The read partial pictures are displayed together with the registered medical chart data. A dentist deletes unnecessary pictures or writes additional contents of patient's conditions or a treatment. When the contents of the oral surgical treatment are confirmed, the contents of medication are recorded on the medical chart 14. Namely, a medication screen file is read out, its screen is displayed on a display 9, and the medical chart data are stored on a floppy disk 14.
