Abstract:
To easily recognize a change in the state of a disease in a local region of a tissue from a medical image.SOLUTION: A medical image processing apparatus includes an acquisition unit, an analysis unit, and an estimation unit. The acquisition unit acquires a plurality of images that are obtained by imaging an identical analyte and are different in imaging time. The analysis unit classifies tissue property of the analyte into a plurality of tissue-property classes by analyzing the tissue property of the analyte on the basis of the pixel values of respective regions of the plurality of images, and assigns the classified tissue-property classes to the respective regions of the plurality of images. The estimation unit estimates a change in the state of a disease of the analyte from a change in the classified tissue-property classes in respective corresponding regions of the plurality of images.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
