To safely and inexpensively disinfect a medical instrument in a short time through the use of a disinfecting apparatus for adjusting the concentration and contact time of chlorine dioxide, which is evaluated to have substantially no trouble on a human body though having a sterilizing effect in a short time, to values to be adapted to use, though there has been problems that a high-level disinfecting agent to be used for disinfecting the medical instrument is expensive and takes much time, chemical steam trouble occurs in a disinfection worker, and infrequently, residual chemical trouble occurs in a person who does not use the instrument.
The medical instrument disinfecting apparatus includes: a medical instrument disinfecting tub 5 to be sealed; a quantitative pump 2 for sucking a chlorine dioxide aqueous solution from a container 1 and injecting the designated amount to a dilution tub 3; a water supply electromagnetic valve 6 flow passage for injecting clean water to the dilution tub, diluting the chlorine dioxide to be at setting concentration, and supplying the chlorine dioxide to the disinfecting tub; a drainage electromagnetic valve 6 flow passage for draining a liquid after a designated disinfecting time is terminated; the water supply electromagnetic valve 6 flow passage for injecting the clean water for rinsing to the disinfecting tub; and an electric circuit for controlling the disinfecting time, a rinsing time, and rinsing times.
