Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medicinal composition useful in the treatment or prophylaxis of generalized microbisms on patients of human being or animal by including an antimicrobial specific heterocyclic derivative and at least one of specific carriers or the like.
SOLUTION: This medicinal composition is obtained by including (A) a compound [e.g. 1-(cyclohexyloxycarbonyloxy)ethyl (4S,8S,9R,10S,12R)-4-methoxy-10-(1- hydroxyethyl)-11-oxo-1-azatricyclo[7.2.0.03.8]undeca-2-ene-2-carboxylate] of formula I{R1 is a group having formula II [R4 is H or methyl;(p) is 1; R5 is a 1-4C alkyl or cyclohexyl]; R2 is methoxy} and (B) at least one of physiologically permissible carriers or a vehicle. The ingredient A exhibits high level antimicrobial activity to a wide range of pathogenic microorganisms when perorally administrated and possesses extremely high resistance to all β- lactamase.
