Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight original feeding device which is attached to an image forming device in an openable/closable way and can keep its sufficient strength even when the force is concentrated on its hinge.
SOLUTION: A metallic coupling stay 9 is attached to a paper feed/carry/ ejection unit 3 which fetches an original, carries the original to an image reading part and ejects the original and also the stay 9 is attached to a hinge 7a which opens and closes the original feeding device 1. Since the unit 3, the stay 9 and the hinge 7a can be integrated into one body, the original feeding device which has sufficient strength and yet is lightweight is realized.
