Abstract:
To obtain a medicine for preventing diseases and disorders of muscular tissues by administering a polypeptide which is growth, differentiation or survival factor for muscular tissues found in Vertebrata species.
This medicine prevents diseases and disorders of muscular cells by inducing division promotion, growth, differentiation and survival of muscular cells. The medicine comprises a specific polypeptide containing a polypeptide or a compound binding to a receptor on the muscular cells or activating a second message system of muscular cells, a receptor-binding compound and a specific polypeptide factor as active ingredients.
