This medium carrying belt has the pipe-like object molded of a high polymer material, an electrode pattern having electroconductivity, and the electrode protective layer, in this order. The electrode protective layer includes at least a layer of a composite resin composed of a filler and a resin of a tensile elastic modulus of 100-500 MPa.
