Abstract:
To provide a medium carrying belt not allowing deterioration of an insulation property caused by adhesion of ink or a cleaning liquid, having the excellent insulation property in a large area, having a small peculiarity, high adhesion force and a small warp to exert an excellent adhesion carrying property, and having high surface hardness, slidability, water repellency and durability to the ink to exert an excellent ink cleaning property.
This belt is composed of a pipe-like object molded of a high polymer material, an electrode pattern having electroconductivity, and at least one electrode protective layer. A maximum depth of a recess of the electrode protective layer surface is set to ≤40 μm.
