An arithmetic means of the computer analyzes the number of branches in a reference point K of the pipe structure S, the number of pipe members passing through the reference point and the branch state by use of basic data B and member data C for pipe structures stored in a storage means of the computer based on the input framework data A of the pipe structure S, selects members to be arranged in the reference point K, and calculates the length of a pipe member 1 based on the space between members arranged in the reference point K, whereby the design drawing L and the member list F for the pipe structure are formed.
