To provide a member connection device usable for assembling light frame structure such as racks, trucks, support stands, by using a stick member such as a pipe member.
A first clipping means 2 for clipping a first member P1 having regular octagonal or regular hexadecagonal rectangular-column-shaped outside surfaces includes a pair of clipping members 4A, 4B, a fastening bolt and nut 5, and fixing tools 6A, 6B. Clipping parts 10 of the respective clipping members 4A, 4B are provided with center clipping plate parts 10a orthogonal to the axial direction of the fastening bolt and nut 5, truncated chevron-shaped clipping plate parts 10b, and parallel side plate parts 10c. When the first member P1 is clipped between the clipping parts 10 of the clipping members 4A, 4B with the rectangular-column-shaped outside surfaces and the clipping plate parts 10a, 10b facing to and nearly in parallel with each other, the fixing tools 6A, 6B are mounted to the outside surfaces in parallel with the axial direction of the fastening bolt and nut 5 at positions between the parallel side plate parts 10c adjacent to each other of the both clipping parts 10.
