To allow for visually confirming a connection state between a metallic terminal and a power supply terminal of a motor in assembling and to prevent or suppress conduction failure due to a foreign matter.SOLUTION: A case 9 of an opening/closing member drive device 1 is configured by stacking a first case 21, an intermediate case 22 and a second case 23 in a first direction Z. In the first case 21 for housing the motor 6, a part of a first peripheral wall 26 surrounding the motor 6 is extended to the second case 23 and this part forms a support plate portion 20 covering an outer side of a second peripheral wall 32 of the intermediate case 22. In assembling the intermediate case 22 and the first case 21, a sealed space is formed between the support plate portion 20 and the second peripheral wall 32, and the sealed space is applied as an arrangement hole to insert a metallic terminal 60. Before assembling the intermediate case 22 to the first case 21, the metallic terminal 60 is assembled in the first case 21 in advance, and then the metallic terminal 60 and a power supply terminal 29 are made to be electrically conductive in assembling the motor 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
