Abstract:
PURPOSE: To offer membership service in real time.
CONSTITUTION: The merchandise sale checkout device is equipped with a handy terminal 30 which can input and transmit order data ORD 1 and an electronic register 10 which registers the order data ORD 1 transmitted from the handy terminal 30 and transmit secondary order data ORD 2 to the handy terminal 30, and also has a membership service processing function; and the handy terminal 30 is provided with a card reader 40 which reads a membership card and transmitting means 31, 32, and 29 which transmit membership card data MND read out by the card reader 40 to the electronic cash register 10, which is provided with membership service processing execution control means 11 and 12 which executes the membership service processing function by using the membership card data MND received from the handy terminal 30.
