PURPOSE: To increase division efficiency of a metal belt, by arranging a width divider concentrically with side trimmers further elevation movably placing the divider on a separate shaft from the side trimmer and providing said width divider in the outlet side of the above described line then successively arranging in the order of a divider shear and carrousel reels.
CONSTITUTION: Side trimmers 10-1, 10-2 and a width divider 13 are provided on a concentrical shaft, further the width divider 13 is elevation movably provided on a shaft different from that for the side trimmers 10-1, 10-2. Then a divider shear 14, deflector pinch roller 15 and carrousel reels 18-1, 18-2 are adjacently provided to the side trimmers and the width divider. The divider shear 14 being provided can measure a metal belt S to length for obtaining prescribed coil weight and split the belt in good accuracy of width.
