Abstract:
To provide a metal cutting machine effective in preventing the defor mation of a cut-off part while suppressing vibration and noise during cutting.
This metal cutting machine is provided with a table 11 that can mount workpieces W-W to be cut, and a tipped saw 17 arranged in a liftable manner above the table 11. A stock vice device 21 for fixing the workpieces W-W is provided on the table 11. A fixing body 22 of the stock vice device 21 is composed of left and right fences 23, 24 arranged on both left and right sides of a lifting locus of the tipped saw 17. Fluttering on the cut-off side is suppressed by the right side fence 24 to suppress vibration and noise during cutting and to prevent the deformation of the cut-off part.
