Abstract:
To provide a metal matrix composite excellent in cohesion resistance, slidability, and wear resistance, and a method for producing the same.
A preform 4 is used, in which a granulated body 2 of a carbon nano material formed when a plurality of carbon nano materials 1 are entangled is captured. A metal matrix composite 5 is obtained when metal molten in the preform 4 is impregnated into a space, which is surrounded when ceramic fiber materials 3 are entangled in a three-dimensional space, and solidified.
