Abstract:
To provide a metal particle manufacturing method for effectively manufacturing spherical metal particles each having a small particle diameter, for example a particle diameter equal to or smaller than 10 μm: and to provide a metal particle manufacturing device.SOLUTION: A metal particle manufacturing method includes: a first step for melting metal material 205(916) in a first fluid medium 202(901) heated to a melting point or higher of the metal material 205(916); and a second step for generating impact waves in the first fluid medium 202(901) and applying the impact waves to the surface of the melted metal material 205(916) to obtain metal particles 206(915) from the metal material 205(916). The second step includes a third step for adjusting the concentration of dissolved gas in the first fluid medium 202(901) to be within a prescribed range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
