Abstract:

To provide a metal seal material used for a sealing device in which clearance between a stationary part and a rotary part of a turbine can be reduced.

The metal seal material used for the sealing device of the stationary part and the rotary part of the turbine includes a surface layer and a lower layer composed of a porous metal layer, and porosity of the surface layer is smaller than porosity of the lower layer. The porosity of the surface layer is equal to or greater than 60% and less than 65%, and the porosity of the lower layer is equal to or greater than 65% and equal to or less than 75%. The porous metal layer is 0.3 to 3.0 mm in thickness, has MCrAlY alloy which uses Ni or Co for M, as a main component, and may include h-BN of solid lubricating material.
