To provide a metallic bellows type accumulator whose durability and safety are improved by releasing liquid inside a liquid chamber to prevent a metallic bellows from deforming and damaging when the pressure of the liquid inside the liquid chamber has increased by a fire or the like in a 0-down state where the metallic bellows has contracted.
In the metallic bellows type accumulator, the sealing means comprises a sealing member, made of an elastic material, in which two reinforced rings made of a metallic material are overlapped to be embedded and a holder for holding the sealing member to a side of a cap in an axially movable manner. Then, there is provided a communicating means for making a side of the liquid chamber and a side of an introducing hole communicate with each other between the overlapped surfaces of the two reinforced rings when the sealing member is reduced to ashes.
