Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a metallic roofing board which can be arranged in order with existing unit roof tiles or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A metallic roofing board 10 has an engagement recessed part 11 on the end of the roofing board which is on the lower side of a slope surface when mounted to a roof and a turned-up part 14 which is on the upper side of the slope surface on the end and an engagement projected part 16 is erected across a flattened part 15 from the turned-up part 14. The rear side surfaces are lined with underlayments 17, such as felt, foamed boards and laminated sheets. The metallic roofing board 10 on the lowest stage is covered in such a fashion that the engagement recessed part may be fitted in an engagement part of a metal fitting on the edge of eaves and the flattened part 15 is nailed with a sheathing roof board. The engagement recessed part of the metal roofing board on the second stage is fitted in the engagement projected part 16 and fixedly mounted to the sheathing roof board in a similar fashion. Since there is no need to lay out underlayment sheets on the surface of the roof and mount them directly on slate tiles or the like. The metallic roof boards can be arranged in order, thereby building up a roof which is finished and attractive to look at.
