Abstract:
PURPOSE: To acylate 7-amino group of cephalosporanic ring.
CONSTITUTION: A7-ACA amino thiazolyl protected adduct is prepared by acylating an amino group with aminothiazolyl acetic acid wherein amino group has been protected by a phenyl acetyl or a phenoxy acetyl group. Then, the amino group is deprotected by hydrolysis in the presence of penicillin G amidase or penicillin V amidase in an aq. soln.
