This method for adjusting the roller gap of a pulverizing roller device having the computer consists in moving plural rollers 1, 2 for regulating the roller gap between the rollers so as to come into contact with each other by monitoring of the torque of an adjusting motor in a half state, setting the position as an internal zero point signal (reference point) in the computer, opening the roller gap to a spacing existing beyond the desired roller gap for corresponding products, idling the rollers without the products and closing the roller gap to a desired value for the purpose of the selected products.
