To provide a method and an apparatus for artificial marble press molding preventing leakage of a resin material, discharging air in a mold, flattening and smoothing the surface of artificial marble after curing, causing no cavity, and saving the material and re-processing cost.

The apparatus includes (a) a mold; (b) a heating device 18 curing the resin material by heating the resin material by the mold heated to a predetermined temperature; (c) a device 16 press-molding the resin material by continuously pressurizing the mold at a predetermined pressure and continuously pressurizing the mold at the predetermined pressure; and (d) a sealing member preventing the leakage of the resin material by sealing the mold by expansion and shrinkage, and discharging air in the mold through a space between the mold and itself. The method and apparatus of artificial marble press molding prevent leakage of the resin material when the mold continuously pressurizes the resin material, by pressurizing the resin material continuously at the predetermined pressure following the curing shrinkage of the resin material by the mold, and sealing the mold by the expansion and shrinkage of the sealing member.
