To assemble a panel assembly made of a resin while correcting the strain of the assembly caused by the strain of each of molded panels when the panel assembly made of the resin is constituted by mutually bonding the peripheral edge parts of two molded panels made of the resin.
A tail gate made of the synthetic resin is assembled by mutually bonding at least the peripheral edge parts of both of inner and outer panels 10 and 20 made of the resin. This assembling method has a step for respectively measuring the strain quantities from a reference value with respect to a plurality of measuring parts in a combined state of both panels, a step for determining adjustment quantities at every measuring part from the measured values of the strain quantities, a step for placing the inner panel on a receiving tool 30 to adjust the height positions of the parts corresponding to the respective measuring parts corresponding to the respective adjustment quantities, a step for adapting an adhesive to the adhesion part with the outer panel, a step for combining the outer panel with the inner panel to place the same on the inner panel and a step for pressing and holding the outer panel to the inner panel to cure the adhesive.
