PURPOSE: To simply change the bending radius steplessly without causing irregularity, by beating the desired bending part with the vibrating pawl possessing the beating point.
CONSTITUTION: Plural reinforcing iron bars 3 are lined up in the flat plane and are sent in the arrowed direction C by the feed roller 6, and at the same time, the vibrator 8a is started to push the vibrating pawl 12a together with the vibrator 8a in the direction B with the cylinder unit 9. Each of pawl pieces 13a, 14a, 15a, of the vibtating pawl 12a, projects in the direction B while being vigorously vibrating; hereby, the pawl piece 13a projecting to the side of the first reinforcing iron bar 3 beats the reinforcing iron bar 3 which hereby bends to the direction B centering at the tip of the pawl piece 13b, projecting to the side of the first reinforcing iron bar 3, of the unvibrating pawl 12b; and finally, by three pawl pieces 13a, 14a, 15a, the reinforcing iron bar 3 is bent to the radius of the circular arc passing the beating points M0, M1, M2, located along the tip of the vibrating pawl 12b. With this beat of the vibrating pawl 12a, the reinforcing iron bar 3 is sent forward and the beating position gradually transfers. By adjusting this feed rate, the bending angle can be freely set.
