Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To build up a route bypassing a root node on a network on which a spanning tree is formed.
SOLUTION: When a root port learns a transmission port of a frame received by a data apparatus function 14 to a representative port, the frame is transmitted to the representative port. When a blocking port receives the frame by a learning function 16 in the blocking port, the blocking port tentatively learns the transmission port of the frame whose transmission source address of the received frame is used for the destination under the condition that other port learns the destination. When a data transfer function 18 by the tentative learning address receives the frame whose destination is the tentatively learned address, the tentative learning is switched into a regular learning.
