Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravel crushing method capable of performing good crushing work by regulating a state that low grade gravel falls downward as it is in a non-crushed state when both tooth plates are opened and a state that Biri gravel at the center part of both tooth plates falls downward as it is in a partially divided or non-crushed state even in a damper absent state, and a gravel crushing apparatus.
SOLUTION: This gravel crushing apparatus 1 is equipped with a pair of crushing plates 19 and 21, a vibration motor 27 for vibrating one crushing plate 19 and a shaking means for shaking the other crushing plate 21 in the directions pressed to and allowed to be spaced apart from the crushing plate 19. Gravel 45 is crushed by the clamping forces of both crushing plates 19 and 21 while supplying gravel 45 and water W to the crushing part 17 between both crushing plates 19 and 21 from above. The maximum spaced-apart distance in the crushing part 17 for crushing gravel 45 by both crushing plates 19 and 21 is set to about 30 mm or below when the crushing plate 21 is shaken.
