The peculiarity-attached side end section 95 of the carcass ply 90 is held with anvil ring 20, and the bead core 80 held by a bead holder 41 is moved toward a bead molding part 11 of a rigid core 10 by abutting it on the carcass ply 90. At that time, a winding end section 96 of the carcass ply 90 is held separately from the bead core 80 by abutting it on a bead holder 41 and the bead core 80 is disposed by sandwiching the carcass ply 90 in the bead molding part 11. Thereafter, the bead core 80 is fixed by a fixing means 50, the bead holder 41 is moved and holding of the winding end section 96 is released and is folded by a folding means 55, to wind the peculiarity-attached side end section 95 around the bead core 80.
