Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain raw minced meat for sausages that is packed and completely sealed by markedly accelerating the filling process by feeding the meat and other materials into a mold, when the mold is covered with a punch. SOLUTION: When food materials are fed to a mold 10 made of underfoil 1 and this mold 10 is packed, particularly a semi-fluid food material is packed by using a packing machine of a type of at least partially covered with a punch 2 having a charging inlet 21 and a vent hole 22 that is controllable with a valve 6, the food material is fed into the mold 10 at the time when the mold 10 is covered with the punch 2. In a preferred embodiment, the mold 10 is tightly sealed with the punch and the punch 2 has a sealing face 25 that co- operates with the corresponding mold face 11.
